Photokina 2012 – Hahnemühle Review

At the 2012 photokina, Hahnemühle launched another paper intended for book album printing. In cooperation with designer Michael Sontag and fashion photographer Per Zennström Hahnemühle demonstratd the complete process of a fashion photography shoot at booth D017 in hall 06.1. The latest issue of Hahnemühle´s art magazine UPON PAPER had been part of our booth and last but not least the fine art experts demonstrated the variety and efficiency of precious fine art papers as part of the show ‘see me, feel me, print me’.

Successful Photokina for Hahnemühle FineArt

Hahnemuehle Stand Photokina 2012An action packed week including new products, live fashion shoots and a magazine launch makes for the most successful Photokina to date for Hahnemühle FineArt.

“The enormous interest in our fine art papers and the second edition of the magazine UPON PAPER exceeded our wildest expectations,” said Michael Siekiera, CEO of Hahnemühle FineArt GmbH. “This fact confirms my assessment that high-quality prints with lasting value will keep on gaining significance – and this also applies to the photography in our increasingly digitalised world. We are really delighted with the success of Photokina and even more so when it comes to our international following.”

New bird observation deck in Hahnemühle´s home country

The nature scouts of the GFN (Association for nature conservancy in Einbeck and the surrounding region) are happy to announce a new observation platform over 3 meters in height in the nature region ‘Leinepolder.’ Green-Rooster-Bird-Watchtower-Official-opnening“The observation of native and migratory birds during their rest on the open water expense of the blocking debris or at the banks of the adjacent wetlands, is much better now” says Albert Engel from GFN.

The construction of the new observation deck was possible due to the donation totalling 15.000,-€ from Hahnemühle FineArt and Kreis-Sparkasse Northeim.Hahnemühle, as a long-established company based next to the bird sanctuary, supports this project for environmental education.
