Hahnemühle FineArt congratulates Leica photographer Andreas H. Bitesnich on his retrospective ” 25 years of photography ” and thank the photographer for a long and wonderful cooperation. Andreas H. Bitesnich was discovered as one of the first top photographers to use Hahnemühle´s Digital FineArt papers for his large-format prints; he has been loyal to the market-leading inkjet paper since its development in the 1990s.Bitesnich is printing his sculptural nudes in black and white, his haunting portraits and his quiet, almost melancholy journey motifs from India , Tokyo, New York and Paris on a Canon ipf 8300 himself. His current show is on display at Kunsthaus Vienna as of 27 February to 9 June 2014.
High-end prints of his photographs on Hahnemühle Digital FineArt papers impress in galleries and museums and leave collectors in astonishment. The photographer has favoured two Hahnemühle papers for the retrospective of his motifs from a quarter century. ” Hahnemühle Photo Rag® Ultra Smooth corresponds to the look I am used to with certain papers from the analogue darkroom. For my Polaroid Series I prefer Bamboo inkjet paper with the soft yet warm look and feel that is necessary for these motifs.”
The reputation of the international award winning Hahnemühle papers combines perfectly with their inimitable feel and exclusivity as genuine artist papers to portray the captivating imagery of the artist Andreas H. Bietsnich. His Fine Art Photo Prints meet the highest conservation requirements and are unique in terms of gamut, contrasts and colour depths.
Andreas H. Bitesnich is, for more than two decades now, an active global ambassador for our innovative paper manufactory. We wish his exhibition every success!
As an artist working with Photomontage, I also use Hahnemuhle digital fine art smooth paper and agree that it is an absolutely superb paper to use. The colour is incredible and I now wouldn’t use anything else.
