1. Information on the collection of personal data
a. Collection and processing of data
Every time our website is accessed or a file stored on the website is retrieved, this information is logged. The information is stored for internal system-related and statistical purposes. The following information is logged: name of the file accessed, date and time of access, volume of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, web browser and requesting domain.
The IP addresses of the computers requesting the files are also logged.

Further personal data is recorded only if you provide this information voluntarily, such as when making a request via our contact form.
We use a double opt-in procedure for registrations to our newsletter. Using this system, you sign up by first entering your first and last name plus a valid email address. We then send you an email with a link for confirmation. Your account with us is only approved once you have confirmed your registration.
b. Use and disclosure of personal data
Where you have provided us with personal data, we will use this data only to respond to your requests, to fulfil contracts concluded with you and for the purposes of technical administration.
Your personal data will be passed on to third parties or otherwise transmitted only if this is necessary to fulfil the contract (e.g. transferring order details to suppliers), if this is necessary for billing purposes or if you have provided your consent. You are entitled to withdraw your consent with future effect at any time.
Personal data that has been stored will be deleted if you withdraw your consent to storage, if knowledge of this data is no longer required for the purpose for which the data was stored, or if storage of said data is prohibited for other legal reasons.
c. If you have provided consent for the processing of your data, you may withdraw this consent at any time. Such a withdrawal affects the legitimacy of processing your personal data once you have notified us of this withdrawal.
d. If we process your personal data based on the balance of interests, you may object to the processing. In particular, this is the case if the processing is not required to fulfil a contract with you, as described by us in each case in the following description of functions. Should you make such an objection, we ask you to specify the reasons for which we should not process your personal data in this way. In the case of a reasoned objection by you, we will examine the situation and then either cease or adjust the data processing, or explain the compelling legitimate grounds on which we will continue to process this data.

Cookies are small text files that are sent to your browser when you visit certain web pages. Information is stored in this text, such as information on your country of origin or browser language. Cookies make web pages more user-friendly and enable fast and efficient browsing. They do not harm your device and do not contain any confidential data such as your email address or payment details.
4. External links
We implement technical and organisational security measures in accordance with the state of the art to protect your data provided to us against accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. For example, the data that you enter in the contact form is transferred to us in encrypted form. Our security measures are continuously updated in line with technological advances.
By implementing technical and organisational measures, we do everything we can to store your personal data in such a way that it cannot be accessed by third parties. We cannot completely guarantee that data will be secure when communicating by email, so we recommend sending confidential information by post.
