‘Culinary delights’ from all over the world make the new Hahnemühle watercolour calendar a true feast for the eyes. Hahnemühles third International painting contest attracted 1500 entries from 22 countries – all painted on paper from Hahnemühles watercolour range. Every year, the announcement of the winning pictures is awaited with eager anticipation and excitment. This years prizes have been awarded and are now visible at Hahnemühle website clicking the ‘Information’ button. In 2013 the artist who created the respective month’s picture will be introduced month by month on Hahnemühle Facebook and at www.mein-kreativatelier.de.
The 12 calendar sheets will feature the likes of subtle creations, exotic fruit, regional delights and still lifes apparently from the land of milk and honey. “The works sent in by the Hahnemühle fans from all over the world were truly mouth-watering for us and the jury,” said Marketing and Sales Manager Norbert Klinke on the occasion of the new calendar’s presentation. “The selected works are true examples of enjoyment and joie de vivre. We’d like to thank all the participants and congratulate the winners at the same time.” The calendar has become a sough-after collectors’ item in the past, will be printed in a limited edition and given away as corporate Christmas present. 10 copies are supposed to be given to 10 Hahnemühle friends in a Christmas promotion at Facebook.
It goes without saying that there will be a new painting competition in 2013. At the request of numerous Hahnemühle fans, it will be the first competition that will be open for all the painting and drawing techniques. The topic is ‘Music’. The official announcement will be made end of January, 2013.
