Hahnemühle responds to current situation and expands its production with much-needed mouth and nose protection.
As an expert in high-quality filter papers, Hahnemühle uses its many years of experience in producing a perfectly aligned covering for the mouth and nose which is also suitable for people who wear glasses.
HaMuNa® Care, a disposable mouth and nose cover can be used anywhere, e.g. on public transport, in supermarkets, waiting rooms and public buildings. As a barrier, it prevents people passing the infection through coughing and corresponds to hygienic behaviour in the case of an infectious disease. It is designed for short-term and singular use.
HaMuNa® Care is offered in a single dispenser of 200 pieces or with a stand display. The easy to use contactless dispenser can be placed in public buildings, companies, clinics or doctors to provide mouth and nose protection to visitors. Due to a perforation on the mask wings, the HaMuNa Care® can be adapted to the shape of an individual‘s head.
The HaMuNa® Care material is breathable and printable (digital and analog) and certified for direct food contact. The digitally printed display and dispenser can be flexibly printed for branded goods and retailers. HaMuNa® Care is a registered trademark. A patent has been applied for material and design.
‘We are pleased that with HaMuNa® Care, we were able to quickly develop a product that helps to fulfill the mouth and nose protection needs of all. HaMuNa® Care is produced entirely in Dassel, Germany under highest hygienic standards. We already receive a lot of filter media requests for use in sewn reusable masks and are very confident that customers will also accept HaMuNa® Care as an inexpensive solution. We are planning to expand production to 1 million HaMuNa® Care per day’ says Hahnemühle President & CEO Jan Wölfle.
Hahnemühle offers HaMuNa® Care at cost price, to help make a contribution to a rapid containment of the pandemic and fulfilling its social responsibility.
HaMuNa® Care is not a medical protective mask. All other health recommendations such as social distancing, thoroughly washing hands, etc. must be continued to be observed.
Hahnemühle offers various filter media for personal and home-made protection masks for covering the mouth and nose. The filters are made from high-purity cellulose or synthetic fibres to filter coarse particles from air. Depending on the density of the material, they reduce the permeability of coarse dust and liquid droplets in different degrees. They can be placed in between other open fabrics or used as an interchangeable insert in the pocket of a sewn mask. The filter media differ in thickness, elasticity and permeability to air.
