1200 images! This is an impressive number of motifs and a new record in the participating countries: 46.
Once again Hahnemühle´s painting competition had been a great success again. 500 artists participated on the topic “Contrasts” and painted, drawned, printed and collaged. We are overwhelmed by the creativity and quality of works submitted.
Monochromatic designs, contrasting colors or motifs, images with unusual associations or in combined creative techniques made the jury enthusiastic and had been a great challenge at the same time. Now the first step is done: 36 motifs for the final round are chosen. End of October the announcement of the 12 victorious motifs will follow. Check out the shortlist video with the motifs in the fi

There is an annual contest for Hahnemühle´s art calendar open for entries from all over the world. Submissons in traditional painting, drawing and printing techniques are welcome. The winner motifs adorn the exclusive Hahnemühle art calendar that will be published in a limited edition as a Christmas gift for Hahnemühle´s customers and business partners around the world. To be part of the calendar is an international reputation for artists. Winners will receive 10 copies of the calendar and an exclusive goddy package of artist paper from Hahnemühle, with paints from artist colour factory Schmincke and finest brushes from the manufacturer daVinci.
