Sterile monitors were specifically developed for colony counting and are perfectly suited for microbiological routine testing of pharmaceutics, cosmetics, food, beverages, water and other liquids.
Due to their high flow rate, the large filtration surface and easy handling, the 100 ml single-use units from Hahnemühle are ideal for users with a high quantity of samples. The pre-sterilised units contain a membrane and a cellulose pad. Along with the monitoring grid, a magnifier integrated in the lid facilitates the counting of colonies.
Connecting the Monitors to multibranchfiltration systems is very easy, the supplied multi-use adapter allows the use of various filtration systems. Simultaneous filtration of multiple samples increases efficiency. After filtration in the lab the monitors can easily be converted into a petri dish without touching the membrane. The membrane is not fixed in the petri dish and can be removed if necessary.
The monitors come individually sterile packaged and are available in the following versions:
- Monitors with black cellulose nitrate membrane, 0.45 µm, sterile, 47 mm, with mesh, 50 pcs.
- Monitors with white cellulose nitrate membrane, 0.45 µm, sterile, 47 mm, with mesh, 50 pcs.
