In cooperation with the first museum for sculptural paper art Haus des Papiers, the FineArt Print Studio d’mage and Hahnemühle – supported by Canon – are jointly organising a dual photo and print workshop in Berlin.
For the first part of the #paperlove workshop, we will meet you and your cameras at the Haus des Papiers, offer a guided tour and you will get the chance to photograph the paper artworks on site. These objects offer a perfect combination of light, shadow and materiality. You will be guided by the well-known Berlin based photographer Dominik Butzmann.
In the second part, you can touch and feel paper in the nearby studio of d’mage and get prints of your own motifs on Hahnemühle paper. Alexander Cartellieri from Hahnemühle will demonstrate the user-friendly possibilities of printing directly from the camera with the commercially available CanonPro300. Under guidance, you can print one or two pictures in A4 or A3 yourself – for a portfolio album or framing. Both options will be presented by the Hahnemühle paper experts together with photographer Dominik Butzmann, who uses Hahnemühle papers for his work. In addition prints can also be done on the large Canon Fine Art printers under the expert guidance of the d’mage professionals. We also show you a smart and easy presentation option with Halbe magnetic frames. This turns a portfolio print into the perfect wall decoration that can be replaced again and again.
Please register in advance for one of the 20 places. Registration is possible on the website of the Haus des Papiers or directly here.
