Hahnemühle FineArt is going to present at Photokina 2014 a true baryta inkjet paper with TIPA Award. Photo Silk Baryta 310 from ‘Hahnemühle Photo’ range has been acclaimed “Best Inkjet Photo Paper” of the year 2014 by the Technical Image Press Association. It is the fifth TIPA Award for a paper of the world market leading manufacturer in the Fine Art paper industry. The new paper will be on display in Hall 3.1, booth 25, at Photokina and Hahnemühle will receive the coveted trophy during the trade show.
“Photographers who seek the look, feel, and tonal depth of traditional silver halide in an inkjet paper will be quite pleased with this Hahnemühle Photo Silk Baryta 310 offering. The paper’s unique barium sulphate coating offers rich monochrome and brilliant colour reproduction in a weight that speaks to both its high quality and ease of handling for mounting and display” stated TIPA journalists from magazines of the imaging industry.
Swedish fashion photographer Per Zennström is also thrilled by Photo Silk Baryta. His concepts are to be seen in crisp, brilliant colours as well as in velvety, deep blacks and grey tones on the sample prints featured in the ‘Hahnemühle Photo’ sample book. “The fine structure of the paper, the luster of the printed area and the pleasant matte surface in unprinted areas captivates every observer. This paper provides a real wow factor for the eyes and a real Baryta feeling for the fingertips.”
The new Photo Silk Baryta is an excellent alternative to Ilford Gold Fibre Silk. More information on the paper: http://bit.ly/photosilkbaryta_en
