The company bucks the recent trend to re-locate production sites abroad. “The production of premium filter products requires a demanding manufacturing environment, which we only find in Germany at present.” explains Friedrich Nebel, Managing Director at Hahnemühle.
The oldest German paper mill has produced premium filter papers for more than 125 years at its site in Dassel. Due to this, Hahnemühle has an access to experienced and highly trained employees. The solidarity of the staff with the paper mill and the passion for products, some of which are handmade, are two reasons for Hahnemühle’s success. Only selected raw materials and pure spring water are used for production.
The craftsmanship associated with modern know-how, result in papers which inspire customers and contribute to them receiving positive results in their individual work.
Specifications with very low tolerances and high quality control test methods assure a constant premium quality. All test methods at Hahnemühle confirm to DIN and EN guidelines.
