Martin Lucas, Print Manager from dStudio based in Little Clacton, Essex have very kindly shared their experiences of using Hahnemühle paper and canvas with us:
We’re a small fine art print studio serving (mostly) self publishing artists with prints of their artwork, illustrations and photographs. We started life a long time ago as a picture framers, the print studio was started in 2012 as we noticed the artists we worked with started to ask about printing and where they could get reproductions of their works produced. Nearly 4 years later and we’ve printed for 1000’s of artists from all over the world.more
“In my artwork I am interested in discovering transmuted spaces, places where energy shifts, changes, or renews itself. Through an exploration of the interstices between opposing elements such as nature and artifice, chaos and order, I wish to explore entropic systems where healing may occur. I want my audience to be confronted by a raw sense of what it means to be alive” stated artist Tobias Tovera. His ongoing series ‘Diffusion of Pigment’ comprises abstract monochromatic pigment paintings. Originals are translucent works of art which are reproduced on the perfectly suited fine art paper – a genuine digital fine art paper by Hahnemühle. The limited edition prints by Candela Fine Art Printing (Hahnemühle Certified Studio) are large-scale art reproductions for exhibitions, collectors, as shop or interior decoration. We are honoured to feature Tobias Tovera in a Q&A.more
