The centerpiece is the giant art reproduction <strong>Guernica Redacted<\/strong>, edited by Cahiers d\u2019Art and printed on <strong>Photo Rag Ultra Smooth 305g<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In Cahiers d\u2019Art gallery <strong><em>Guernica Redacted [After Picasso\u2019s Guernica, 1937] <\/em><\/strong>is standing like a monument. This large format art reproduction of an original charcoal drawing by Robert Longo measures 283 by 620cm and is limited to 3 pieces. It has been realised by Robert Longo on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hahnemuehle.com\/en\/digital-fineart\/digital-fineart-collection\/matt-fineart\/p\/Product\/show\/8\/7.html\">Hahnem\u00fchle Photo Rag\u00ae Ultra Smooth<\/a>.<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-16115 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.hahnemuehle.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2016\/07\/DSC_0022-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0022\" width=\"518\" height=\"345\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.hahnemuehle.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2016\/07\/DSC_0022-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.hahnemuehle.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2016\/07\/DSC_0022-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 518px) 100vw, 518px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Huge charcoal black blocks are cutting the already parceled art from Picasso, giving space for interpretation. Longo explains &#8220;I thought about old films and their black and white lights, to prison\u2019s bars or to the writing of a secrete correspondence.&#8221; According to the artist, it would be a meditation on the difference of meaning between &#8216;watch&#8217; and &#8216;see&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When I was looking close to the artwork, I wanted to go through these giant black lines, to see if there were another world behind. I would have loved to discover Picasso himself giving birth to his Guernica&#8221; says L\u00e2m-Gilles Gascuena, Customer Service, Marketing and Communication Manager at Hahnem\u00fchle France. &#8220;The black lines are so disturbing and the Photo Rag Ultra Smooth gives them even more deepness.
