We have asked travel photographer Werner Richner four questions about his Hahnem\u00fchle Inkjet Photo Albums<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you use the Hahnem\u00fchle albums for?<\/em>
\nTo present my portfolio of more than 20 years of travel and landscape photography at collectors or gallery owners. These albums are serious and appropriate portfolios that emphasize the value of my work.<\/p>\n

How do you like the “modular system”<\/a> which offers two different covers and four content papers?<\/em>
\nI like the possibility to give my album a personal touch by choosing between two different covers and four content paper grades. The papers are either printable on one side or both sides, with matt or glossy finish. The interchangeability of content papers is another advantage of Hahnem\u00fchle’s FineArt Inkjet albums. So I do not need 20 portfolios. I can easily replace or add new motifs using the refill packs.<\/p>\n

Which cover and what kind of paper do you prefer?
\n<\/em>I’m a fan of the classic leather cover instead of the one with the red stitching and my favourite paper is Photo Rag\u00ae Duo. My iconic landscapes or the intensely coloured architecture shots appear very vividly and captivating – without annoying reflections which occur when presenting prints in transparencies.<\/p>\n

How do you process the albums?<\/em>
\nWith modern Fine Art printers it is easy and most accurate. I work with the Epson printers Stylus Pro 3880 and SureColor P600. I protect my A3 album pages after printing with Hahnem\u00fchle Protective Spray<\/a>.<\/p>\n
