The solid, smooth surface is perfectly suited to sketching and erasing. Also ideal for wet colour application, the heavy paper allows easy correction of mistakes and colours stand out vibrantly against each other. In addition, the hot pressed Britannia can be used for gouache, tempera and acrylic methods. \u201cHot pressed Britannia is a great addition to our watercolour family and it ideal for artists who prefer working with a smooth, non-structured surface for their art work. It also works well for artists who use dry painting techniques,\u201d suggests Rana Ardal, Product Manager for Traditional FineArt products at Hahnem\u00fchle.<\/p>\n

Britannia hot pressed is available in both block and sheet formats. Visitors of Creativeworld can be amongst some of the first to try the new hot pressed surface out.
