Presence at the OFF Festival and Selected Exhibitions in the Main Programme<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Hahnem\u00fchle is once again part of the Rencontres de la Photographie d’Arles <\/a>in 2026 – one of the most important international gatherings for contemporary photography. Our presence spans two areas: the OFF Festival<\/a> in collaboration with INLAND<\/a>, as well as selected exhibitions within the official festival programme.<\/p>\n

A particular highlight in the main festival is the exhibition:<\/p>\n

A SENSE OF PLACE – Harry Gruyaert<\/strong><\/p>\n

📍 Chapelle Saint-Martin du M\u00e9jan (Le M\u00e9jan, Place Nina Berberova)
\n📅 6 July – 4 October 2026<\/p>\n

The exhibition by Magnum photographer Harry Gruyaert presents a compelling visual exploration of places and atmospheres. All works are printed on Hahnem\u00fchle Photo Rag\u00ae Baryta, underlining the significance of the printed image as a central means of expression in photographic art.<\/p>\n

Presence at the OFF Festival: Collaboration with INLAND<\/h4>\n

As part of the OFF Festival<\/a>, Hahnem\u00fchle is once again collaborating with INLAND<\/a>. This partnership is deliberately focused on experimental formats, exchange, and professional networking within the international photography community.<\/p>\n

“THE BATTLE”<\/strong> is a live format that stages photography as a performative and collective process. Teams from collectives, agencies, schools, or creative communities compete against one another with a curated selection of images. The focus is not solely on the individual photograph, but on the question of how images are read, assessed, and experienced in context. The audience is actively involved in this process and becomes part of the decision-making. Participation is free of charge.

SPEED DATING SESSIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Speed Dating Sessions<\/strong> offer a deliberately more intimate format. In short, curated one-to-one conversations, photographers meet with curators, editors, agencies, and Hahnem\u00fchle experts. These conversations are direct, open, and practice-oriented. New projects, collaborations, or professional opportunities frequently emerge as a result. Places are limited; participation is free of charge.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Hahnem\u00fchle is also present within the official festival programme -among others through curated exhibitions such as A SENSE OF PLACE <\/strong>by Harry Gruyaert<\/span><\/span><\/a>, which highlight the importance of high-quality FineArt prints in a museum context.<\/p>\n
