Exquisite FineArt prints, new products and \u2018Artist Signings\u2019 at the Hahnem\u00fchle booth on every day of the fair captivated the photokina visitors. At the same time, the fans of the tradition-rich manufacturer\u2019s unique papers donated more than \u20ac12,000 to an environmental project. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2018FineArt Baryta Satin<\/a>\u2019 is the name for the new Hahnem\u00fchle barite paper with a silky-gloss surface. The global market leader in the area for fine-art inkjet papers used photokina and its international crowd for the public launch of this new product. This paper gives extraordinary picture results with large colour space and intense colour rendition, it’s exceptionally captivating thanks to its fine gloss. \u201cFineArt Baryta Satin exceeds my already high expectations. Using Hahnem\u00fchle papers allows me as an artist to spend more time creating the images in a way I would like them to be seen and not have my art held back by the limitations of the media on which it is produced\u201d, quotes photographer Mark Mann.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Hahnem\u00fchle Protective Spray<\/a> and Varnish<\/a> have a new improved formula. Applying both products is even easier than before and they also protect fine art prints against dirt, finger prints and humidity.<\/p>\n

With compelling works fromcontemporary artists and photographers such as; Jerome Brunet<\/a>, Kwaku Alston<\/a> and Mark Mann<\/a>, Hahnem\u00fchle underlined the versatility of its medias. From classical photography through to digital art and also art reproduction: every picture was presented on the perfectly suiting paper \u2013 from smooth, textured and glossy surfaces.<\/p>\n

During the \u2018Hahnem\u00fchle Artist Signings\u2019, many excited fair visitors used the chance for a chat \u2018from artist to artist\u2019. Hahnem\u00fchle invited a total of six photographers for autographing their coveted works of art. 100 prints of works by Stefan Milev<\/a>, Kirill Golovchenko<\/a>, Sven Nieder<\/a>, Mario Marino<\/a>, Andreas H. Bitesnich<\/a> and Jochen Brillowski<\/a> were given away to the visitors as limited Hahnem\u00fchle photokina editions.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, the company generated more than \u20ac12,000 by selling sample packs of its sought-after products. The proceeds will be donated to the highly regarded photographic and environmental project Stella Polaris* Ulloriarsuaq.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
