Hahnem\u00fchle’s<\/span> new<\/span> painting competition is now open<\/span>.<\/span> “<\/span>Nature in the City” is the trendy theme for<\/span> our<\/span> art calendar<\/span> 2016.<\/span> We<\/span> look forward<\/span> to<\/span> many international<\/span> submissions and<\/span> want to reach the<\/span> record participation<\/span> from<\/span> last <\/span>year<\/span> again<\/span>. The<\/span> bar is set high<\/span>: 1,200 images from<\/span> 500<\/span> artists from<\/span> 46 countries<\/span> were submitted for the<\/span> 2015<\/span> calendar<\/span>. So join in<\/span> and<\/span> tell<\/span> others about the competition<\/span>!<\/p>\n

\"Kalenderwettbewerb2016_EN_Seite_1\"<\/a>Our<\/span> annual <\/span>competition is open to<\/span> all<\/span> artists who <\/span>like to paint,<\/span> draw,<\/span> illustrate<\/span>, collage<\/span> or print with <\/span>traditional techniques<\/span>. We call for entries of<\/span> professionals and hobbyists<\/span>. Each<\/span> individual is<\/span> eligible.<\/span> The only condition:<\/span> your artwork<\/span> must be created<\/span> on a paper<\/span> by Hahnem\u00fchle<\/span> or<\/span> Lana<\/span>. Each motif<\/span> must be suitable<\/span> for printing<\/span> on<\/span> the calendar in<\/span> at least 40<\/span> x 30<\/span> cm<\/span> in<\/span> landscape<\/span> format<\/span>. To begin with,<\/span> please submit<\/span> digital<\/span> files<\/span> of your<\/span> artwork.<\/span> The upload<\/span> portal on our<\/span> website will be open end of February<\/span>. Deadline<\/span> is the<\/span> 30.06.2015<\/span>. A jury<\/span> is going to select<\/span> 36<\/span> images<\/span> for the shortlist<\/span> and<\/span> will pick<\/span> 12<\/span> winning<\/span> designs<\/span> for the<\/span> arts<\/span> calendar<\/span> 2016<\/span> this autumn. P<\/span>articipation in this<\/span> international competition<\/span> promises<\/span> world-wide<\/span> reputation to artists<\/span>. Hahnem\u00fchle\u00b4s<\/span> art<\/span> calendar<\/span> is<\/span> released in a limited<\/span> edition only and<\/span> is not<\/span> for sale.<\/span> Hahnem\u00fchle<\/span> business<\/span> partners all over the<\/span> world<\/span> get<\/span> it every year<\/span> as an exclusive<\/span> ‘<\/span>collectible’ and<\/span> display the pictures<\/span> all over the world<\/span>.
