Cette gravure tr\u00e8s grand format (283x620cm), limit\u00e9e \u00e0 3 exemplaires, a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par Robert Longo sur le papier <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hahnemuehle.com\/fr\/digital-fineart\/digital-fineart-collection\/matt-fineart\/p\/Product\/show\/8\/7.html\"><strong>Photo Rag Ultra Smooth<\/strong><\/a>. Cette \u0153uvre marque le d\u00e9veloppement nouveau dans les recherches de Longo quant \u00e0 l\u2019intervention sur l\u2019\u0153uvre originale.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019imposantes bandes de fusain noir fracturent la composition d\u00e9j\u00e0 morcel\u00e9e de Picasso, laissant libre cours \u00e0 toute interpr\u00e9tation. Longo explique \u00ab\u00a0j\u2019ai pens\u00e9 aux vieilles pellicules de films et \u00e0 leurs lueurs en noir et blanc, aux barreaux d\u2019une prison, ou \u00e0 la r\u00e9daction d\u2019une correspondance secr\u00e8te\u00a0\u00bb. J\u2019aurais voulu traverser l\u2019\u0153uvre pour y d\u00e9couvrir pourquoi pas Picasso lui-m\u00eame donnant vie \u00e0 Guernica\u00bb raconte L\u00e2m-Gilles Gascuena, Responsable Administration des Ventes, Marketing et Communication de Hahnem\u00fchle France. \u00ab\u00a0Les bandes noires sont troublantes et le Photo Rag Ultra Smooth leur donne une profondeur encore plus saisissante. Dommage cependant que l\u2019oeuvre soit sous verre car sans les reflets du jour et des lumi\u00e8res, le papier aurait rendu les noirs encore plus intenses.\u00a0Quoiqu\u2019il en soit, <strong><em>Guernica Redacted [After Picasso\u2019s Guernica, 1937] <\/em><\/strong>est une \u0153uvre \u00e0 voir\u00a0! \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019exposition pr\u00e9sente aussi de nombreux dessins au fusain de Robert Longo sur l\u2019\u0153uvre de Picasso.
