Paint music! Let your creativity flow to turn pictures into sound. Put instruments, notes, melodies, dances or musical atmosphere on paper!
“The desire to understand how music is created, to see how instruments work, how people play music and dance to music made me paint numerous watercolours featuring subjects such as ballet, dance and jazz,” reveals German artist Frank Koebsch. His saxophone watercolour illustrates the announcement of the contest.
Create your work with your favoured technique. Whether it be watercolour or acrylic, Indian ink, manga or copic painting, collage or combined techniques – any kind of painting is welcome.
