Would you like to try out our new products? We will be giving away three sample packs of each new product: BRISTOL, Britannia and THE GREYBOOK. The sample packs contain three sheets in size 16 x 23 cm and a flyer including all the product information.
The brand new products were shown at Creativeworld for the first time at the beginning of February.
Britannia hot pressed, with its particularly smooth surface compliments the already existing matt and rough variants of the Britannia variety.
THE GREY BOOK is a sketchbook with light grey paper that is particularly suitable for working with ink pencils, fillers and acrylic markers as well as other water-based pens with little abrasion.
The BRISTOL pad contains a high-gloss, smooth paper which is perfect for graphics and illustration.
Take part! Comment underneath this blog post which sample you would like to receive and what motif you would like to create! Deadline for entries is February 17, 2017 at 6 pm.
Good luck!

Hi, I’d love to try out a series of watercolor portraits on your Britannia hot-pressed. I also like working with sumi ink or just drawing with graphite. So it would be wonderful to get a sample of The Grey Book. I would draw my cat sleeping in different parts of my house, for a start. I want to challenge myself to capture quiet, domestic atmospheres using this toned surface. And if I had a chance to work on the Bristol pad, I’d paint ice cream on them using thick acrylic paint
BTW, I’ve been using Hahnemuhle for all my printmaking projects so far and love your brand. Thank you so much
Hello, I would test Britannia with pleasure. I guess it would be good for some sityscapes.

Hallo, ich würde sehr gerne das Grey Book testen. Ich versuche mich gerade im Letzering und Sketchnotes schreiben und kann mir gut vorstellen, dass manche Motive auf dem grauen Papier noch besser rüber kommen.

I would like to try The Grey Book as I’ve been looking for a sketchbook that has paper in a different colour to cream or white. I think I’d probably draw some sketchy birds or perhaps dogs.
Congratulations Michael!

Ich würde gerne “The Grey Book” testen. Ich würde gerne schwarz-weiße und farbige Portraits von Menschen und Tieren darauf malen.
I would like to test the Grey Book on the ancient part of my hometown Witherspoon the castle and many old houses and churches.
Hello.
I draw with fineliners and would definitely like to try out the BRISTOL pad for it’s smooth surface and high gloss.
It’s very difficult to find good quality paper that enhances my type of drawings.
What I would draw? Well… Something nobody has ever seen before, that I can assure you.
Congratulations Marina!

I’d give any Hahnemühle products a go because they always bring out the best of any creativity
I would love to try the new Britannia hot press, please!!!
I’d like the the grey book. Not because of a movie that sounds like that, but because I love Hahnemühle products and I’m always curious what I may create with pencils/ acrylic markers on that paper!
Kind regards
Klara
I want to try the Bristol paper!

I would try the GREY BOOK I draw to seldom on “colouring” paper
I would love to try your new series of Britannia for testing new watercolour tattoo designs as well as more landscapes ♥
Dear Hahnemühle-team,
I would highly appreciate to try out the Bristol variety, since this sounds very sexy to me
Thanks and colourful greetings!
For sure I’d love to try out all of them but “THE GREY BOOK” triggered me most!
I imagine some contrast rich ink work and because of the greyish colour the Martin’s pen white I’d use will be outstanding and shiny!
This would make a light and nearly transparant working with white possible, way more subtle than on kraft paper for example.
Kind regards
Alex
Eigentlich würde ich sie gerne alle testen, weil ich noch nie mit Euerem Papier gezeichnet habe. Am meisten aber würde ich gerne das graue Papier testen. Liebe Grüße M. Pufe
I’d like the Bristol to draw some gnomes, old houses and probably some Harry Potter stuff.
Modesty is not my strong suit – but curiositx is! I would LOVE to give all tree of them a test ride. And I would do the long nosed doctor fish in 3 different styles.
I would like to receive this book to make some great commute sketches
I have been looking for tinted paper sketch books so the “”grey book” would be of particular interest.
I do a lot of sketching as well as water colour painting.I already use your 600matt aquarell Leonardo block.
My passion is drawing buildings so the grey paper would allow a new dimension of colour washes.
Congratulations Iain!
You have won the opportunity to try out our GREY BOOK paper.

I’d like to create some new cyanotypes on either BRISTOL or BRITANNIA paper,
because the special surfaces of those papers perfectly match with my manual coating – and Hahnemühle papers are strong enough to be washed for 10-20 minutes
Congratulations Martin!

Hi! I would love to try out either BRISTOL or THE GREY BOOK. they both make me curious to see what will happen when drawing on them. I wonder what I will draw on them tho, Probably something fantasy related, like a dragon in a waterfall.
I’d like to try the Bristol. I use Winsor and Newton Bristol Board extensively, and it would be refreshing to try a different brand and see the difference. I’d make my doodle art on it (https://www.instagram.com/artonthefridge/) using a technical pen, as well as watercolor, water based markers and alcohol based markers. The grey book is also intriguing since I use paint markers on kraft paper a lot. Is it suitable for India ink?
Hallo
I would love to try your Bristol pack to use in my illustration class. I would create some nice geometric patterns using marker and also acrylic ink.
Hello!! I’d like to try the Britannia for portrait and figure drawing with charcoal!
Hello!
I would like to try the britannia paper, since I really want to try using watercolors on a more smooth surface. I will probably paint someone skiing or snowboarding, since it`s that time of the year here
I would love to try your Bristol or the grey book pack to use in making drawings in streets or portraits (mainly with rotring or black ink with brush). I’m also used to work with your digital paper for photos
I would like to try Britannia. Mist Lively i will be painting an animal.
Mist lively=most likely
I would like to test the Grey Book. I’m an interior design/architecture student and want to draw new design sketches on your grey toned paper.
Hi, I just would like to give it a try for new Britania which one of them will be for my son for sure.
Because when i would have start to paint he will be just beside me with his easel :).
He is just 6 years old and absolutely loves the painting.
Thanks anyway for doing a great job .
I would love to try both the Britannia Hot Press and The Grey Book. I have been using Arches 149lb hot press for many years for watercolour, wax pencil crayon, ink and markers. It would be good to experiment with new surfaces. I would be using them for precise works depicting the water’s edge and or horses. In Toronto I used to find a Hahnemüle Legend paper for really nice digital reproductions of my work. It disappeared. Perhaps Britannia will be a good replacement.
I’d like to try the new Brittania paper! I’ve been using Brittania paper for a while and would love to try the new smooth surface. I’d probably draw an animal on it (I’m a pet portraitist ).
Thanks!
Congratulations Agatha!

I would love to try the Britannia for botanical and biological illustrations as well as Urban Sketching!
Many thanks for the opportunity,
Pat Oblak
I’m currently using your Nostalgie Sketch Book and am extremely pleased that the surface accepts a variety of media. I normally do pen and ink sketches but I’m excited by the results I’m getting by enhancing the sketch by adding watercolor. I live in Washington State and have to order from Minnesota but it’s worth it to be able to create on such wonderful paper and I like the Portrait size I’m using.
I’d like to try the Grey Book to see how introducing casein and other opaques will transform the pages.
Thank you for this opportunity.
Frank
