Hahnemühle again impressed the TIPA jury this year and won two TIPA World Awards. The prize for “Best Photo Paper” went to the Baryta innovations Photo Rag® Matt Baryta, Bamboo Gloss Baryta and Photo Silk Baryta X. The “Best Professional Printing App” was awarded to the Hahnemühle app, which was expanded with Pro features in autumn.

Combined with its lightly textured surface, Hahnemühle Bamboo Gloss Baryta offers a natural-looking aesthetic with the look and feel of an analogue baryta paper. The high-gloss premium inkjet coating delivers outstanding print results with defined reproduction of colour and details, deep blacks, and striking contrasts.
Photo Silk Baryta X
Photo Silk Baryta X is a cellulose paper with an optimised inkjet coating for photo application, it is perfectly suited for photo and poster prints. The baryta coating gives the impression of a traditional silver halide photo paper. The smooth, creamy white paper with its silky gloss finish produces a very good print quality, ensuring the best results for daily printing.

The Hahnemühle inkjet printing paper lineup continues to expand and with each new entrant comes newfound creative options. These new papers are in the Baryta family, renowned for their look, feel, and richness of surface that matches high quality silver halide prints. All are in the medium/heavy range (slightly above 300gsm) and can be used in most quality inkjets without special platen settings. Bamboo Gloss Baryta, part of the company’s “sustainable” group, is made with 90% bamboo fibers. It’s a warm tone, high gloss paper that delivers rich contrast and wide tonal range. Photo Rag Matt delivers vivid colors and deep blacks with sharpness and clarity. The Photo Silk Baryta X paper has been optimized for inkjet printing with a smooth white look and a silky gloss finish.

The Hahnemühle App is a technical support app for Hahnemühle Certified Studios, print studios in general, and artists and photographers who print their own art. It is designed for beginners to start their printing journey and expand their knowledge. The app offers informative articles, short videos, detailed step-by-step instructions, and much more.
The new Pro features can also be used to calculate paper demand easily, directly access the My Art Registry service, and create a personalised ICC profile.

Printmakers now have an online resource to guide them on Hahnemühle paper choices, ICC profiles, paper characteristics, optimal image to paper matches, and more, plus open the door to a worldwide community of fellow artists and technical contacts that will enhance their creative endeavors.
