Three current trends – one universal artist.
Alexa Dilla will be presenting this year’s novelties at the Creativeworld trade show to visitors at the Hahnemühle stand. We look forward to welcoming an artist who has traveled the world and delivers outstanding workshops. For many years Alexa had been a residential artist on a cruise ship. She has inspired thousands of people with her painting, sketching – and the newest trend – hand lettering.
Beside her seminars on board she conducted her own painting tours and workshops from Venice to Berlin – true to her motto “Paint you happy”. On her website Alexa Dilla shows her travel impressions and invites viewers to get involved with painting, drawing, sketching and lettering.
“Painting is a learning process which never stops: I find inspirations that catch my eye on every corner, every picture is a living process full of ups and downs; sometimes for the wall and sometimes for the experience, but never in vain.”
This is the same inspirational attitude she will be bringing along to Creativeworld: motifs of longing from distant lands, sketches from everyday life in Berlin, or the art of beautiful letters will arise on our new Watercolour Papers, Watercolour Postcards, Hand Lettering Paper and Watercolour Books. Hints and tips on the painting characteristics of our papers, on various painting and drawing techniques, or on her favourite accessories, can be exchanged at our booth with Alexa Dilla.
She paints with Schmincke artists`s paints and da Vinci artists’ brushes and both companies can be found just around the corner of our booth in Hall 4.1, E 10.
